I am often asked, “Where did the name Ryan Reeve come from?” Both are family names,  “Ryan” from my father’s side and “Reeve” from my mother’s side. These names are interwoven  throughout the generations solidifying the connection to those we love and their lasting impressions on all of us that follow.

I grew up with three very stylish women- my mother, Anne, my aunt, Peggy, and my  grandmother, Stella. Every Friday, (after a weekly hair appointment!), these three fabulous  women would embark on their ritual visits to Birmingham’s finest boutiques and department  stores, me and my cousin, Dena, in tow. Loveman’s, Blach’s, Burger Phillips, Feinfield and  Green, Rosenburger’s and Penny Palmer, to name a few. It was on these excursions that I  learned about fashion, about construction and quality of a garment, about customer service and  customer loyalty, and about developing relationships that extended beyond clothing, shoes, or  accessories. It was also on these wonderful Fridays that the interest in creating my own  boutique was born.
